Dr.
Donald Fielder brings over 30 years of practical academic experience as
he presents to schools and districts throughout the country. He has a
B.A. degree in Psychology, a M.Ed. degree in Special Education, and an
Ed.D. Degree in Educational Administration. He began his career as a secondary
school teacher of mild, mentally disabled students. Throughout his career,
he has served as a Director of Special Education, a Director of Special
Services, an Assistant Superintendent, an Associate Superintendent, and
a Superintendent. As Superintendent, his district received the honors
of being named one of twenty-one Gravity Breaking School Districts in
the nation by the American Association of School Administrators.
Don is the author of the Leadership
Teaching of Geronimo and Achievement Now! How To Assure No Child
Is Left Behind. He has also published articles in The American School
Board Journal, The School Administrator, The Executive Educator, and Phi
Delta Kappan.
Don provides leadership training based
on principles outlined in his book, The Leadership Teaching of Geronimo.
He also consults with school districts on student performance enhancement
through an Achievement Audit process outlined in his second book, Achievement
Now! How To Assure No Child Is Left Behind.
