Rick Clarke

Rick uses 28 years of experience as a baseball coach and teacher and a whole bunch of “life experience” to spread the word that “attitude is the most important ingredient for success in life, both personal and professional.”

His popular Attitude 101 presentations focus on the power of the attitude and how dramatic improvements can be made in the way we live, work, and play by applying some simple principles. The presentations are designed to meet the specific needs of each organization and are both fun and powerful….using humor and teaching simple steps for immediate change in behavior. The approach is simple: Work on the attitude first and then work on everything else, because…when the attitude gets better, everything gets better!

Rick is 49 years old and resides in Clinton, Mississippi with his wife Patty and two sons, Josh and Jacob. He is a member of Morrison Heights Baptist Church. He graduated from Forest Hill High School (Jackson, Mississippi) in 1972, and received both BS (1977) and ME (1984) degrees from Mississippi College in Clinton.

Rick currently serves as the head baseball coach at Hinds Community College in Raymond, Mississippi. He teaches in the Health and Physical Education Department at Hinds and also teaches online courses for the Mississippi Virtual Community College.
